If you are thinking about fishing in Bamfield, you should get at it! These were what we retained today and released about 40 more. In all my years of years of fishing here, it really doesn’t get any better than it is now. A great mix of Chinook and Coho.

54.5 Pounds of Pure Cabo Gold!

Congratulations to our friend Nathan Rusek on landing this incredible 54.5-pound (24.7 kg) dorado while fishing with Tag_Cabo_Sportfishing off Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur.

The fish was caught approximately 10 miles offshore on a trolled lure in 89°F (31.7°C) water temperatures, proving that even during the warm summer months, Cabo continues to produce trophy-class dorado.

Once Nathan brought the fish within reach of the boat, the crew at Tag Cabo Sportfishing safely secured this monster using a Morita Gaffs , making for an unforgettable end to an incredible fight.

Every catch like this is another reminder of why Cabo San Lucas remains one of the world’s premier sportfishing destinations, offering anglers the opportunity to target trophy dorado, marlin, tuna, wahoo, and many other world-class gamefish throughout the year.
