🇨🇦⚽ GAME DAY TOMORROW! ⚽🇨🇭

Tomorrow's Canada vs. Switzerland match is shaping up to be one of the biggest games of the tournament so far!

Both teams have given us plenty to cheer about, and here at Heidi's RV we're proud supporters of both Canada and Switzerland. 🇨🇦🇨🇭

For Canada, there's even more on the line. A win or a draw would guarantee Canada a place in the Round of 32 and keep them playing on home soil right here in Canada. While a loss would still likely see them advance, it would mean heading south of the border for the next stage.

As Canadians, we're hoping to see Canada keep the momentum going, secure that home-field advantage, and continue their journey toward the championship.

The excitement doesn't stop there! Our own Heidi's RV World Cup is also heating up. The Road to the Final 16 is well underway, and next month we'll begin narrowing the field as our RV brands battle it out for a spot in the Heidi's RV Final 16. 🏆🏕️

Will Canada's strong tournament run help carry one of our RV brands all the way to the Final 16? We'll soon find out!

For now, we'll be cheering on a great match between two teams we've enjoyed following all tournament long.

🇨🇦🍁 WARNING: EXTREME LEVELS OF CANADIAN FUN EXPECTED AT HEIDI'S CAMPGROUND! 🍁🇨🇦

On June 27, Heidi's Campground will experience dangerously high levels of:

🌭 Hot dogs consumption
🎂 Cake appreciation
🚜 Wagon riding enthusiasm
🚗 Questionable golf cart decorating decisions
🎲 Bingo-induced excitement
🎆 Fireworks-related "OOOHHH!" and "AAAHHH!" noises

Here's the game plan:
🎂 12 PM – 1 PM
Hot Dogs & Cake
(Because every great Canadian celebration starts with food and ends with more food.)

🚜 1 PM
Wagon Ride
(Zero traffic. Five-star views. Better than the 401.)

🚗 3 PM
Golf Cart Parade
(Show off your cart. Show off your decorations. Show off your inability to drive in a straight line at 10 km/h.)

🎲 6:45 PM
Bingo
(Where lifelong friendships are tested over the last number called.)

🎆 DUSK
Fireworks
(The grand finale that reminds the mosquitoes who's really in charge.)

🇨🇦 Dress in red and white.
🇨🇦 Wave a flag.
🇨🇦 Apologize at least three times for things that weren't your fault.
🇨🇦 Cheer for every golf cart like it's in the Indy 500.

And remember:
If you leave without eating cake, taking a wagon ride, or yelling "BINGO!" loud enough for the whole campground to hear, were you even there?

☀️ Happy First Day of Summer!

Today marks the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, with over 15 hours of daylight across Southern Ontario. It’s also Father’s Day, and the weather is shaping up to be a pretty nice one for anyone spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Temperatures will be near or slightly below seasonal levels, generally reaching the low to mid 20s across Southern Ontario. Combined with a mix of sun and clouds, it should feel comfortable for most outdoor plans.

It won’t be completely perfect everywhere though. A few isolated pop-up showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon, especially across parts of Central Ontario. Most areas will stay dry, but keep an eye on the sky if you’re spending the day outside.

Looking ahead, rain will begin moving in from the west later this evening and overnight, bringing a wetter end to the longest day of the year for Southwestern Ontario and the Golden Horseshoe.

Enjoy the extra daylight while it lasts! 😎☀️

Way to go Canada! 🇨🇦

🇨🇦⚽ WHAT A NIGHT FOR CANADA! ⚽🇨🇦

A dominant 6-0 victory has Canada rolling into their final group-stage match with plenty of momentum! 🔥

Congratulations to Team Canada on an incredible performance and a huge three points. With one match remaining, the stage is now set for a massive showdown against Switzerland next week on June 24th.

And speaking of Switzerland... 🇨🇭 congratulations to them as well on their strong start to the tournament! That means our next featured matchup has a little extra excitement here at Heidi's RV Superstore, as two of our absolute favourite teams go head-to-head.

As the summer continues, so does the race in our Heidi's RV Championship. Our countdown to the Final 16 is officially heating up, and every international result brings us one step closer to kicking off our RV bracket challenge to see which brand will lift the Heidi's RV Cup at the end of the season! 🏆🏕️

Will Canada keep the momentum going? Will Switzerland continue their strong run? We can't wait to find out!

Want to be part of the fun? We'd love to have you join us in the Hawkestone Canada Day Parade!

🚜 Those wishing to ride in the Heidi's Campground wagon should meet in front of the campground office at 11:45 AM on Wednesday, July 1st.

👀 Prefer to watch and cheer on the parade? The parade begins along the main street in Hawkestone at 1:00 PM.

Wear your red and white, bring your Canada Day spirit, and come celebrate with the community! 🍁❤️

🍁🔥 Who's ready for a Canada Day Weekend filled with campfires, fireworks, and family fun? 🔥🍁
