Scenic Hut is Finland’s best small event venue, awarded by Evento Awards 2026. Nestled into a hillside above Pitkäjärvi, the space was designed by architect Malin Moisio and built around an open fire at its heart. Architecture, nature and fire in one room.

Forest & Finesse. Daniel Romi at Scenic Hut. 🌿

On August 21st, one of Finland’s most exciting young chefs brings his craft to Nuuksio. Daniel Romi, 25, works at Restaurant Palace in Helsinki and has won both the Nordic and European Young Chef Championships. His pop-up menu for Scenic Hut draws from Japanese aesthetics and late summer ingredients, five courses built around balance, delicacy and clean flavors.

Scenic Hut is our award-winning intimate event venue above Pitkäjärvi, hosting a season full of unique dining experiences with visiting chefs throughout 2026.

Lake Lodge Bistro just got better. 🌿
Our kitchen has been renewed and the menu with it. Wild fish and game take the lead, local and seasonal vegetables fill the rest. No farmed meat, no shortcuts — just good ingredients, handled with care.

Open every day in June, July and August. Kitchen open 5–9 pm, bar until 11 pm.
No reservation needed, just show up hungry.
