A little glimpse of autumn at our peaceful riverside hideaway in Finnish Lapland.

Slow mornings, colourful forests, berry picking, canoeing on the river, cosy sauna moments and refreshing dips in the cold water.

The river is at the heart of life here at Ollero. From peaceful summer swims to invigorating icy dips in winter, it's part of the experience all year round 💦

We even had our first snowfall earlier this week — although it didn't stay for long ❄️

Meet the family behind Ollero 🤎

Before Ollero became a place for travellers from around the world, it was our family's childhood cottage – a place filled with memories, surrounded by the forests and river of Finnish Lapland.

Growing up here, we learned to appreciate the simple things: time together, the beauty of nature and the traditions of Lapland.

We wanted to share this special place with others, while staying true to the values that have always made it meaningful to us.

For us, true luxury isn't about extravagance. It's about authentic Lapland experiences, the peace of nature and having time to simply be together.

Today, the four of us siblings – Arttu, Anni, Amalia and Aaro – run Ollero Eco Lodge together.

👋🏼 Arttu is the eldest of our four siblings and the familiar face welcoming you to Ollero.

He takes care of everything on site, from preparing the lodge to making sure you feel right at home.

Having grown up here, he knows every corner of the place and is always happy to share his local knowledge and tips for exploring Lapland.

💌 Anni helps you plan your visit, shares local recommendations and makes sure you get the most out of your time in Lapland.

🌿 Amalia & Aaro work behind the scenes, helping keep everything running smoothly and taking care of the many details that make Ollero special.

And although they prefer to stay out of the spotlight, our parents are still very much part of the Ollero story, always ready to lend a helping hand. ❤️

What started as our family's special place is now something we get to share with people from all over the world.

Tomorrow, there will be guests around this table again 💚

We’ve had Ollero to ourselves this summer — enjoying the long summer days, fixing a few things, building a few things, and simply spending time here.

Tomorrow, a new season begins and our first guests arrive.

It feels good to set the table for others again. 🤍

As part of our yearly tradition, we planted one tree for every guest who stayed with us last season. 🌲
Travel always leaves a footprint. This is one way we try to leave something positive behind. 🌿

We wrapped up the season with a little escape to Pallas, where we could still enjoy the snow ❄️☀️
