Riddings Wood offers the best of both worlds, being peacefully located in the countryside but with quick and easy access from the park to Derby, Nottingham and Mansfield. The touring park has hardstanding pitches with grass for awnings and electric hook-up points to all pitches for caravans and motorhomes. There fully refurbished toilet and shower block with washing and laundry facilities and a camping field for tents and is close to the amenities.

🔥 Important Guest Notice 🔥

Dear Guests,

Due to the current drought and extremely dry conditions in the area, we have had to make the difficult decision to temporarily ban all BBQs and firepits across Riddings Wood Holiday Park.

🌳🔥 This decision has been made purely for the safety of our guests, staff and the park itself. With the ground and surrounding woodland being exceptionally dry, the risk of a fire spreading is significantly increased. We know this may be disappointing, especially for those who enjoy relaxing around the firepit or having a BBQ during their stay, but safety has to come first.

🚲 Bikes & Scooters

We also need to remind all guests that bikes and scooters are temporarily not permitted on the park. This is due to ongoing safety concerns, particularly with the movement of vehicles and pedestrians around the park.

We appreciate that these restrictions may cause some inconvenience, but they have been introduced to help keep everyone safe and to protect our beautiful park.

Our delicious Pizza Van will be on-site TODAY from 3:00pm – 7:00pm, serving up freshly made, hot pizzas for all our guests to enjoy. 🍕🔥

Get ready for a fantastic afternoon of wagging tails, family fun, and community spirit! Join us on Sunday 19th July 2026 at Riddings Park Community Centre for a celebration of our four-legged friends, with fun classes, doggie stalls, and plenty of prizes to be won. 🏆🐶

Whether your pup is the Cutest Puppy, Golden Oldie, Waggiest Tail, Best Rescue, or even has the Best Fancy Dress, there's a class for every dog to shine! ✨
