🌠 Shooting stars tonight at Crofts Barn! 🌠

Tonight (Saturday 10th October) we're getting a rare triple treat: the last night of the Draconids, the peak of the slow-moving Southern Taurids, and the early fireworks of the Orionids building up. ✨

Even better, it's a new moon, so the sky will be properly dark. Out here in the north Oxfordshire countryside, away from the town lights, you couldn't ask for a better spot. 🌌

🔭 No telescope needed, just your eyes
🧣 Wrap up warm and bring a blanket or camp chair
⏰ Give your eyes 20 minutes to adjust to the dark (and put your phone down!)@

Good food, something to drink, somewhere comfortable to sit and a lovely view can be more than enough.

It’s another one of those simple pleasures that feels better when you’re not trying to make it perfect.
