It’s Tuesday and the weather is miserable! What better way to brighten an ale fans’ day - Green Devil and Proper Job guest ales for £4 a pint!

Green Devil – A powerful tropical fruit IPA packing a punch at 6% ABV.

Proper Job – A proper Cornish IPA, bursting with citrusy hops and flavour.

The fab guys from Worcestershire Chimney Services gave our flues a very needed sweeping today….now look at this one roar!

Did you know we have two fireplaces here? Well, we do! And when it gets a bit colder, the other will be lit too, so you won’t have to fight to get a spot by the fire!

Well, well, well… look what’s taking shape!

The bar is going in at The Barn at The Bewdley Inn and things are starting to get VERY exciting!

There’s still plenty to do (and an awful lot of dust to get rid of 😂), but we’re finally starting to see our vision come to life.

We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on behind the scenes.

And trust us… it’s going to look VERY different when it’s finished!

Now THIS is what we call a line-up…

Not only have we given the bar a bit of a refresh… we’ve refreshed the drinks offering too!

We worked closely with the fab team at Molson Coors to choose our new bridge and the line-up to go with it — and we’re rather pleased with how it’s turned out.

With wines, bottled drinks, ales, stouts, la**rs and ciders (phew!), we reckon we’ve got something for pretty much everyone.

And then there are the hand pulls…

We like to keep things interesting, so alongside our HPA — which isn’t going anywhere, don’t panic Wye Valley fans! — we regularly change our other cask ales.

This week we’ve got Oakham Green Devil (at 6%, it really does live up to its name) and St Austell Proper Job on the pumps.

Because a proper pub needs a proper choice of b**r.

Autumn has officially arrived at The Bewdley Inn.

There’s something about sitting here when the evenings start drawing in… comfy leather chairs, autumn colours, a pint on the table and nowhere you particularly need to be.

Proper pub season is here and it’s almost time to light the fires!

Just under a week until our first FIX IT night…

Tuesday 6th October from 6-8pm

Who’s got their old, broken, torn, holy (or unholy) items ready to bring. And who’s got their repair kits and nifty tricks ready to help.

These nights will be about swapping skills, helping each other to repair and reuse items that may have ended up in landfill - and you might make a few new friends too 😁

We’re waiting on installation of our new coffee machine, so until then we have free tea and coffee from the kettle for those who don’t fancy a cold drink 🙂

A little later opening today than initially planned…

We’ll be opening at 3pm today instead of 12pm while we put the finishing touches to some exciting changes around the pub!

The bar, toilets and paintwork have all had some love, and things are starting to look VERY different around here.

Thanks for bearing with us while we get everything finished — doors open at 3pm and we can’t wait for you to see it!
