1 The Mallows A private holiday let in Widemouth Bay, Bude. Comfortably sleeps 10 people. In May 2014 we took ownership of 1 The Mallows, Widemouth Bay.

We plan to renovate and update the building and let it during the holiday season. The property currently consists of a 3 bedroom bungalow and separate annex the same size as the house. There are large gardens and the beach is a 2 minute walk away.

Outlook for the half term week…

We’re heading into a warm spell along the North Cornwall coast with plenty of sunshine and fun surf through the weekend and next week. Don’t forget the suncream.. Slip,slap,slop!!

Surf looks playful to moderate for most of the week, with clean mornings and small-to-mid sized waves ideal for lessons, improvers and longboard sessions.

A slight swell pulse could arrive towards Thurs/Fri bringing a bit more size to exposed beaches.

Weather-wise, expect warm sunny days from Sunday through Tuesday with temperatures pushing into the mid-20s.

Towards next weekend things turn a little more mixed with increased cloud and the odd shower, but still plenty of opportunities to get in the water.

Sea temp is around 11–12°C, we recommend a thicker wetsuit still.

Best conditions will be mornings before sea breezes pick up. Conditions can change so always check in with the lifeguard teams for any advice or updates.

Today marks the start of the main season

The following beaches are now lifeguarded every day from 10am–6pm until the end of September:

• Sandymouth
• Crooklets
• Summerleaze
• Widemouth
• Black Rock

Always SWIM and BODYBOARD between the flags 🟥🟨

If you have any questions, please ask a member of the lifeguard team.

Today also marks the start of the NO DOGS RESTRICTION at Widemouth and Crooklets between 10am–6pm.

From Saturday 19th July, all seven of our lifeguarded beaches will be patrolled for the summer season!

• Crackington Haven
• Northcott Mouth

will have daily lifeguard cover from 10am to 6pm throughout the summer holidays.

• Crooklets
• Summerleaze
• Widemouth
• BlackRock

Please always visit a lifeguarded beach and swim or bodyboard between the 🟥🟨 flags.
