Whatever your reason for joining us - a drink with friends, some delicious food in our restaurant or outside terrace, a bed for the night - we can assure you of a warm welcome from staff who care. Each of our 4 bedrooms have been individually designed with a traditional feel with modern touches. Every bedroom has views of the Union Canal and the surrounding countryside. All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms, complimentary Laura Thomas Co products, and Egyptian cotton bed linen. The rooms have flat screen TV's, free wi-fi, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers.

Steak Night is back at The Bridge, with three cuts to choose from: Argentinian Ribeye, Scottish Flat Iron or British Sirloin.

All served steak-frites style with peppercorn sauce, Koffmann’s fries and watercress for £24.

Add a glass of red and a side or two - chorizo mac & cheese, BBQ corn ribs, onion rings, Caesar salad or blue cheese & walnut salad - and Thursday’s looking rather well sorted.

Sea trout, two ways 🌿

Fondant potato, saffron & vermouth sauce, braised leeks, trout tartare and pink grapefruit caviar.

At the heart of the dish is the sauce - saffron and vermouth, sweet with a subtle aniseed note, spooned over fondant potato slowly cooked in chicken stock.

The sea trout appears twice. The fillet takes centre stage, while the trimmings are cured and finely chopped for the tartare. Braised leeks bring sweetness, with bursts of pink grapefruit cutting through the richness.

Nothing wasted. Nothing on the plate that doesn’t earn its place.
