Charles Dickens used to be a frequent visitor here! And this is also where he took inspiration for his novel, The Pickwick Papers; which is about Samuel Pickwick & three club friends as they travel the English countryside recording comical misadventures 🌲🚜

For those who have read the novel, you'll know that this is where we've taken inspiration for our most popular beer.... 🔎🔎
