With summer holidays coming to a close before you know it it’ll be Autumn. Are you planning an October half term short seaside break?

Look no further - we only have availability in 2026 for October 4 nts 26-30 half term and November 6-13.

Location: Filey North Yorkshire and East Coast beaches.
The best part of Filey’s sandy beach is the wildlife. Trek out to the north and find Filey Brigg: a stretch of stony land that protrudes out into the ocean, and is teeming with rock pools to explore. There's also the sculpture trail along the beach, and a series of colourful chalets dotted along the coastline that are available to rent. To the south of Filey are Bempton cliffs a world famous RSPB site noted for the birds colonies. Filey the ideal place to stay for a peaceful summer holiday by the sea.

- Number of Guests: 2- 4 (double sofa bed.) plus infant in travel cot.
- Ground floor modern open plan apartment.
- Bedroom: Large kingsize bed, Smart TV
- Cooking & Eating: Open plan Kitchen/dining area
- Relaxing: Lounge with large sofa, 43 inch tv. Wifi. Netflix included.

Are you looking for a relaxing break and a comfortable home from home only a short walk from the beach which is the perfect base to get out and explore the east coast before returning to a comfy bed.
Then please take a look at our holiday home at the prestigious The Bay Holiday Village North Yorkshire set on our scenic east coast 3 miles south of Filey, open all year round, we would love to welcome you, however we are almost fully booked for 2026 with only 26-30 October and 6-13 November remaining.

We are the proud owners of a very well presented and beautifully furnished one bedroom apartment at the Award Winning holiday resort of The Bay in Filey. It is ground floor, with a new modern well equipped kitchen, open plan lounge, large king sized bedroom which opens onto the patio and bathroom has a large walk in rainfall shower. The south facing lawned garden has a hedged border, patio and brick BBQ. Also being situated on the ground floor its easily accessible for less able guests!

The Bay has a dog friendly pub serving food, shop and a free 20m swimming pool , quality exercise suite, sauna and steam room. There are also many other on site activities including Beauty Rooms that can be utilised and paid locally at the Spa or Leisure Centre. The beach is a 10 min walk away and less to the wild flower meadow with lakes.

The whole site is pet friendly as is the apartment, we allow 2 dogs without charge. Although ask if more.
