🐾 DOGS ARE BACK ON THE BEACH! 🌊

From 1st October, the seasonal dog restrictions have officially ended on designated sections of beaches across the Filey, Scarborough and Whitby coast. 🐕

That means our four-legged friends can once again enjoy the sand on the previously restricted sections of:

📍 Filey
📍 Scarborough North Bay
📍 Scarborough South Bay
📍 Whitby West Beach
📍 Sandsend

The seasonal restrictions run from 1st May to 30th September, so it’s time for those autumn beach walks again. 🍂🌊🐾

There’s something about a blustery Yorkshire beach walk with the dog at this time of year!

ITS WORTH THE DRIVE // For those out and about on the East Coast, a short drive into Seamer Village is a must to visit the fabulous Wilson's Food Hall 👌 arriving guests often detour prior to arrival given how close it is on the A64….. this year guests have also told us they’ve enjoyed evenings there. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ // WOULD 100% STAY AGAIN!

"Westreach is a beautiful house in the perfect location for us. We stayed with six adults and two dogs and the space worked brilliantly. We particularly loved the dining/kitchen/garden, such a lovely space to all be together. The beds were super comfy, good fans were provided which was super helpful as it was so hot!
The location is central but really quiet (apart from seagulls!), there was no traffic noise. Mark answered any questions promptly and was always friendly and approachable. We would 100% stay again!"

HIDDEN GEM // for those exploring the coastline, a visit upto Falling Foss is a must for something different. Fabulous shaded walks along May Beck to a 30ft waterfall. Hidden amongst you’ll find a wonderful tea garden serving drinks and amazing “same day baked” cakes.

The tea garden has limited opening hours outside of weekend and school holidays so click the link for more info before travelling.
