Historic riverside Inn near Tewkesbury with ensuite guest rooms, a traditional pub bar serving highly appreciated local ales, ciders and hearty home cooked food, including full English breakfasts and Sunday carvery. A Traditional Public House dating back to the 15th Century, the Lower Lode Inn is set in a stunning location on the banks of the River Severn, 5 miles drive from the historic medieval town of Tewkesbury. Serving Camra accredited real ales and reasonably priced traditional pub food, including a Sunday carvery, this family run traditional pub has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and is popular venue for weddings and events. Set between the Malvern and Cotswold Hills this a great base for exploring some of the UK's most charming villages and the stunning river-valley countryside of the Severn Vale. We are within easy reach of Upton upon Severn, the provincial towns of Cheltenham Spa, Gloucester and Worcester and there is easy motorway access to M50/M5.
