Oakhill is a Georgian style house built by the Arkwright family and situated in the Derwent valley world heritage site. In four acres of gardens in a peaceful setting, yet only a short walk from Cromford and the attractions of Matlock Bath. All 15 rooms have en-suite facilities, tea and coffee making and Wi-Fi too. ns. The licensed bar and restaurant serves both lunches and dinners with an emphasis on using locally sourced quality ingredients complemented by a reasonably priced comprehensive wine list

The surrounding area is steeped in history with the famous Arkwright and Masson Millls only a short walk away, which house museums and factory shopping outlets. We are only a few minutes drive from Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Crich Tramway Village and Carsington Water. Walking distance from Black Rocks, The Heights of Abraham and Gullivers Kingdom.
