My bluebell walk at Merrieweathers this evening. I half expected to see Winnie the Pooh’s friend Owl in the tree!

Such a special spring walk today - bluebells galore! I highly recommend fitting in a group walk with your friends and family during a stay as we are surrounded by public footpaths with woodland, streams and rolling hills.

An 80th birthday celebration here last weekend.
Ages 9 to 80 all enjoying time together!
The Hayloft mezzanine was a big hit with the teenage granddaughters.

Midweek escape available this Easter 🐣

We’re fully booked for weekends right through to the end of September! but we do have two rare midweek slots available over the Easter holidays:

We enjoyed a fantastic tour and tasting at Mousehall Estate yesterday which is just a short drive from Merrieweathers, or a beautiful 40-minute countryside walk across the fields. The experience was so much fun, and our guide, Nick, was absolutely brilliant; knowledgeable, welcoming, and full of fascinating stories about the estate and their journey in the industry.

If you’re staying at Merrieweathers for a weekend celebration, I can’t recommend this experience highly enough. It’s a perfect way to spend an afternoon: delicious tastings, gorgeous surroundings, and a warm, friendly atmosphere. A real treat for anyone who loves craft spirits and award winning wine.

This was such a cosy winter wellness retreat- the first to use our new treatment room too; it even snowed as they were saying their farewells, which was magical.
