Let’s see if we can make a difference, VAT is crippling businesses across the country while we see much lower rates across Europe, it takes 5 seconds to sign and we are at nearly 100,000 signatures already, pubs & restaurants are closing at an alarming rate and the government need to act now. It’s not just VAT we pay, there is income tax, corporation tax, self assessment tax & hugely increased business rates. A reduced VAT rate would encourage investment in businesses instead of closures, the government don’t make money from a closed business!
