Fotheringhay Castle Farm The castle farm camping site is set within the beautiful and historic village of Fotheringhay. Primarily this is a magnificent place to relax.

The village has a rich history, including the birth of Richard III, and the beheading of Mary Queen of Scots. In the shadow of Fotheringhay Castle ruins, this idyllic, picturesque and historic site is the perfect destination for a short break. The site consists of 5 caravan pitches, a campsite available for small and large groups & boat moorings, all a short walk from the welcoming village of Fot

heringhay. The River Nene provides excellent opportunities for fishing, canoeing or even a swim if you’re brave enough.

We’ve only got 3 weekends left before we close for 2026, and the forecast is looking great for next weekend! 🏕️☀️

We’re currently nice and quiet, so if you fancy a relaxing weekend away, now’s a great time to come and stay with us.

🌧️ It’s been a Bank Holiday weekend for the hardier campers!

Plenty of much-needed rain for the farm - perhaps a little less welcome for those under canvas!

The good news? We’re open every day throughout September and still have availability, including some remaining dates in our private Riverside camping area.

September is a great time to camp - quieter, cooler and with plenty of good days still to come. We close for the season at the end of September, so make the most of the last month and book your late-season getaway! ⛺️🌿
