Last night was one of those nights that reminded us just how special it is to have Scotland’s Theatre in the Hills right on our doorstep. 🤎

Just ten minutes from Heilan Roo, we went to see A History of Paper at Pitlochry Festival Theatre, starring Alan Cu***ng and Shirley Henderson — and it was extraordinary.

Funny, quirky and uplifting one moment, heartbreakingly sad the next. It took us through every emotion, with the most brilliant music running through it all.

By the end, the entire audience was on its feet — a completely deserved standing ovation.

And next summer, Alan Cu***ng alongside Ewan McGregor in Supernova is sure to be one of the highlights of 2027

It’s one of the things we love most about Heilan Roo — with an incredible programme of shows throughout the season, a night at Scotland’s Theatre in the Hills can easily become part of your stay.

And ten minutes after the final curtain, you’re back amongst the trees. 🌲🤎
