Summer has quietly disappeared.
The good stuff hasn’t.

Views. Long lunches. Dinner. Drinks. Theatre nights. Wh**ky. Chocolate. Enchanted forests — by day and after dark. And, after all that, shoes off. Staying put.

Adventure in Highland Perthshire is very much still on.

Our remaining 2026 arrival dates are:

30 October
21 November
28 November

This arrived tonight. ❤️

“OMG we are absolutely stunned at your beautiful home. It is utterly gorgeous and you have made it so welcoming for us.”

“You might find it difficult to get us out on Friday.” 😂

Messages like this genuinely mean so much.

We think about every detail before our guests arrive, so knowing that the house feels every bit as special in person as they hoped it would is genuinely the most amazing thing to hear.

ONE GOLDEN WEEK REMAINS.

Our final October week begins 30 October — The Enchanted Forest opens this Thursday until 8 November in Faskally Wood.

Autumn in Highland Perthshire looks a little like this.

Mist in the glens.
Wh**ky at Blair Athol.
The Enchanted Forest after dark.
Fires, hot tubs and nowhere you particularly need to be.

And Heilan Roo to come home to.

Well. We do LOVE bronze. 🤎

Heilan Roo has been awarded Bronze for Best Luxury Property in the Sykes Gem Awards 2026.

From a portfolio of more than 23,500 properties across the UK and Ireland, seeing our beautiful forest retreat in Killiecrankie recognised in this category is incredibly special and means so much.

And even more when you look at the company we were keeping. The Gold and Silver properties are substantially larger — a lovely reminder that exceptional isn’t necessarily about being the biggest.

To everyone who has stayed, returned, recommended us, reviewed us and supported Heilan Roo along the way — Thank you. 🤎

Previously named the best self-catering staycation in Scotland by Sykes and featured in The Sun.

Exceptional by design.
Now, multi-award-winning too.
