💛 Meet the Team – Yasmin

This week, we’re introducing you to Yasmin, who has been part of the Brickhouse & Lakeside team for an amazing 3 years! 🎉

When we asked Yasmin what her favourite thing about working here is, her answer was simple, the team. 💛 She loves being surrounded by such a friendly, supportive bunch and being part of a workplace where everyone looks out for each other.

Over the last three years, Yasmin has become a much-loved member of the Brickhouse family, bringing her own personality, energy and plenty of laughs to the team. 😊

And if you know Yasmin, you’ll probably have noticed another thing… her fab nail designs! 💅✨ She’s always showing off her latest set, and honestly, we think her nails deserve their own place in the Meet the Team series! 😂

We’re so pleased to have Yasmin as part of our team and can’t wait to see what the next few years bring. 💛

We’ve teased it enough… and we can finally shout it from the rooftops! 📣

We are absolutely ecstatic and incredibly proud to announce that, for the SECOND YEAR IN A ROW, Lakeside Kitchen has been named a Good Food Award Winner!
To receive this recognition once is something incredibly special. To do it two years running honestly means the world to us.

This award is a reflection of the passion, hard work and care that goes into everything we do, from the kitchen team creating the food, to our front-of-house team welcoming you, and everyone behind the scenes who helps make Lakeside Kitchen what it is.

It’s no secret that hospitality is tough, especially in today’s climate. While we’re not here to stand on a soapbox, we do want to take a moment to thank our team. No matter what challenges we have faced this year, no matter how many early starts and late nights or moments we’ve had to grin and bear it, they’ve turned up with a brilliant attitude, an incredible spirit and a genuine desire to make the day a little brighter for our wonderful community.

When we started Lakeside Kitchen, we wanted it to be about more than just a restaurant. We wanted to create a community space, somewhere people could come together, enjoy great food, fantastic events, make memories, feel welcome and feel like they belonged.

With that said, we want to take a moment to thank YOU. ❤️

💛 Celebrating Our Glorious Grace – 10 Years! 💛

Today we’re celebrating someone very, very special our Grace! ✨

For 10 whole years, Grace has been so much more than a member of the Brickhouse team. She has been the soul of Brickhouse, a bond that brings people together, a familiar face, a kind heart and a little bit of magic that makes Brickhouse feel like home.

From her fantastic cakes that have brought our team so much joy, to her amazing spirit, infectious warmth and the kindness she shows to everyone around her, Grace has truly become part of the very fabric of Brickhouse.

Some people simply work somewhere. Others become part of its story, its memories and its family and Grace is most definitely one of those people.

It is an absolute honour and a pleasure to say that Grace has been part of our team for 10 incredible years… WOW! 🎉🥂

Thank you, Grace, for the laughter, the memories, the kindness, the countless cakes and for simply being you. 💛
