The Compasses Inn is situated amongst rolling Wiltshire countryside down a single track lane in a beautiful small hamlet surrounded by fields. The pub has been trading since the 14th century when it was used as a rest point for travellers distributing their goods picked up from the harbour in Poole, Dorset. Today, it offers high quality food (AA Rosette for Culinary Distinction), local real ales a

nd cosy modern bedrooms in which to stay. It has an excellent reputation both locally and nationally.

Here is a photo of the new counsellors trained last week in Arua, northern Uganda to treat refugee children with severe trauma symptoms. The money you raised enabled this to go ahead immediately, and they are all so grateful for the generosity of your friends and supporters. A fantastically worthwhile effort, thank you! From everyone in Arua and at ACT International.
