"We had the best time. The house was clean and had everything we needed and we loved the layout of the property with the open living space upstairs. We booked this property last year and Andrew and Charley were very helpful with any queries we had and the information pack at the property had everything you needed to know about the property and the area. What a fantastic review for Farrier's House!!!

"Andy and Charley are great hosts from easy check in to check out. The b&b was exceptionally clean, spacious and well positioned for getting out and about. The kitchen is a home from home with everything you will need, a lovely touch was the wine, eggs,fresh milk and bread upon arrival. We didn't have young children but there is everything you need for families too. The property is well maintained and the manuals that Andy and Charley have compiled are extensive. We had a lovely time in a beautiful location."

"This is a great house in a great location with easy access to the lakes and Penrith. A welcome folder with information on the house and nearby walks is really useful. Bread, milk, eggs and a bottle of wine is thoughtfully provided. The house is clean and tidy and has plenty of supplies. Andrew is a great host and replies really quickly to messages."

"This is a superb property in a lovely little village. It is very well equipped and finished with great taste. There are 2 pub/restaurants in the village both sell delicious home cooked foods. It’s a hop skip and a jump from Ullswater and Pooley Bridge providing the gateway to the lakes."

"Beautiful converted barn, spacious, clean, well stocked and excellent communication from the owners. Very well placed for access to the Lakes. We were two families, including 6 kids between 6 & 12 years old and they all loved it. The house is extremely well stocked with books and board games for all ages (the weather was appalling, we made full use of these!). Kitchen had everything needed to cook for the whole family, beds were extremely comfortable, fantastic shower, space for muddy boots and coats, it was all there...even a heated clothes dryer (again, we made full use of this!). Highly recommend Farrier's House and would definitely return."
