Y genhedlaeth nesaf | Next generation ⛰️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We had some very special visitors at the PyG this week, the next generation of explorers from 1st Gwydyr Squirrels! 🐿

The group stepped back in time to learn about the legendary 1953 Everest Expedition and discover what it took for Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay to reach the summit of the world's highest mountain.

As part of their visit, they made homemade flapjacks inspired by those carried on the expedition and even had the chance to take a sip from the tankards used by Hillary and Tenzing themselves.

Who knows, perhaps among them were a few future mountaineers taking their first steps on their own great adventures! ⛰️✨
