A lovely wander through Over Haddon and Lathkill Dale — peaceful, gentle, and full of those soft limestone‑valley moments we adore.
🐾 Dogs on leads for most of the walk (it’s a nature reserve), but still plenty of sniffs and shady stretches.
Ended with a cold drink at the Lathkil Hotel and its stunning view across the dale.
Peak District magic, every time.

It’s no secret — Walker Peak Cottages has a bit of a sheep obsession. And honestly, can you blame us? With the Peak District full of fluffy locals, it felt only right to let a few wander indoors… in the cutest, craftiest way possible.

This little paper sheep is one of our favourite cottage mascots. Cheerful, chunky, and proudly perched in its frame, it brings a smile to every guest who spots it. A tiny reminder that you’re officially in sheep country — where life is slower, cosier, and just a little bit woollier.
