HKSOA Maritime Talent Cultivation Alliance Study Tour to Yangzhou for the China Maritime Day 香港船東會暨海運人才培育聯盟 “中國航海日”(揚州) 研學團(10-11 Jul 2026)

A delegation from the HKSOA Maritime Talent Cultivation Alliance visited Yangzhou to take part in activities marking the China Maritime Day. During the visit, the delegation attended the 2026 International Conference on Ship Technology and Safety, where HKSOA China Affairs Director, Mr. Gilbert Feng, delivered a speech on behalf of the Association. Both Ms Sandy Chan (Managing Director) and Mr. Gilbert Feng (China Affairs Director) are invited to the main Forum of the China Maritime Day and took a photo with the VIP guests. The delegation also paid a visit to the China Grand Canal Museum in Yangzhou.

香港船東會海事人才培育聯盟代表團到訪揚州，參與中國航海日相關活動。訪問期間，代表團出席了2026年國際船舶技術安全大會，香港船東會中國事務總監馮佳培先生代表協會在會上發表演講。陳佩珊董事總經理和馮佳培中國事務總監還應邀參加了中國航海日主論壇，並與與會嘉賓合影。代表團還參觀了揚州著名的中國大運河博物館。

The Hong Kong Shipowners Association, together with the Maritime Talent Cultivation Alliance, led a study tour to Guangzhou. Representatives from the Alliance members attended the main event for the Pearl River region — 2026 “GBA Maritime Week” and “Maritime Day of China”. The delegation visited the Phase IV automated terminal at Nansha Port and the Guangzhou Seafarer Competency Assessment Demonstration Center. Through this one-day tour, they witnessed the rapid evolution of the GBA’s maritime sector in recent years.

香港船東會與「海運人才培育聯盟」率領由聯盟成員組成的研學團訪問廣州，參加“粵港澳大灣區海事周”暨”中國航海日”珠江片區主場活動。研學團成員一行參觀了廣州港南沙港區四期自動化碼頭及廣州船員適任評估示範中心。透過一天的考察活動, 成員見證了近年大灣區在海運領域的迅速發展。

Joint Luncheon and Award Presentation Ceremony 2026 協會與海事處合辦午餐會暨頒獎典禮 2026

The Luncheon and Award Presentation Ceremony 2026 was jointly hosted by the Hong Kong Shipowners Association (HKSOA) and the Marine Department (MD) to appreciate and recognise the support of shipowners and shipping companies. Around 240 representatives and distinguished guests from maritime sector came to support this annual event.

We were honoured to have the Under Secretary for Transport and Logistics, Mr Liu Chun-san, JP acted as the Guest of Honour and delivered a keynote speech at the luncheon. He announced that the MD would launch the Port Dues Incentive Scheme for Green Maritime Fuel-related Vessels and the Green Vessels Registration Incentive Scheme on 16 June 2026.

A special award, “2026 MD-WMMF ESG Award” was first introduced this year to motivate more Hong Kong shipowners and operators to actively champion green and environmental practices by adopting the WMMF Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Rating Standards 2.0.

由香港船東會與海事處合辦的午餐會暨頒獎典禮，旨在感謝和表彰船東和航運公司的支持，約共有240位來自航運界的代表和貴賓出席支持這年度盛會。

協會很榮幸邀請到運輸及物流局副局長廖振新先生 JP擔任主禮嘉賓，並在午餐會上致詞。他宣布海事處將於六月十六日推出「綠色船用燃料相關船隻港口費優惠計劃」及「綠色船舶註冊優惠計劃」。

今年首度增設特別獎項「2026海事處-世界航商大會ESG獎」，以鼓勵更多香港船東及營運商積極採用世界航商大會ESG評級標準2.0，推動綠色環保實踐。
