Dear friends!
Our beloved friend and receptionist Tlaca is in a critical condition.

If you’ve ever met him, you probably remember his way of being: open, warm, a little wild in spirit, someone who shows up fully, who gives, who listens, who carries others when things get heavy. You might know his passionate voice : singing his favourite songs on the guitar, sometimes surrounded by his Mexican banda, or just on his own. A kind of loving pirate in the best sense of the word - tiredless, full of life. And how we love the food cooks!
Right now, it’s him who needs our support, more than ever.
What happened
In mid-April, Tlaka started to feel increasingly weak and was rushed to a specialised cardiac hospital in Budapest.
His heart is no longer pumping with enough strength. This has led to serious circulation problems and has affected several of his internal organs. He has now been in intensive care for over two weeks.
He is receiving very good medical care, and the doctors are doing everything they can. But the situation remains very serious, and the path forward is still uncertain.
Why we are asking for help
The medical team is currently working out the safest long-term treatment for him.
What is already clear is that the costs will be very high : estimated between €50,000 and €250,000, depending on what treatment will be needed.
This is far beyond what his family can manage on their own. We are gathering around them to carry this together.
About Tlaka
Tlaka is a father to a 7-year-old son who needs him. He is a brother, a son, and a deeply loyal friend. He is someone who has quietly been there for many of us, in ways big and small, often without making a thing of it.
Seeing him in this situation feels unexpected, incredibly unreal, and deeply painful.
How you can support
If you are able to contribute, even a small amount will help.
And if you cannot give financially, sharing this campaign also makes a real difference!
