La Loma started as a farm. The lodge came after. 55 acres of rainforest and farmland, cacao, tropical fruit, permaculture systems that feed the kitchen and support the ecosystem.
A place where you can actually see where your food comes from.

Every guest at La Loma gets a farm tour. Not as an extra. Just as part of being here. The cacao in your morning cup was on that tree yesterday. The fruit on your plate came from five minutes up the trail. That’s not something we planned as a feature. It’s just how the place works.

It’s hard to explain La Loma as a hotel.
Maybe it’s easier to think of it as 55 acres of rainforest that happens to have a few beautiful rooms in it.
