We’ve had a few questions about how recent events in the Middle East might affect holidays to Kalkan. We’re here to give you the facts straight.

Turkey is huge, and the UK holiday spots along the Mediterranean and Aegean coastlines are quite a way from where the news is focusing right now. So, Kalkan is still open and going strong!

Here’s what’s happening right now:

✔ Flights are still on time.

✔ The UK FCDO travel advice hasn’t changed. The affected area is 670 miles from Kalkan.

✔ There are no restrictions on the coastal holiday routes.
