Good evening Logan Landing residence and guest
Our 4th of July was amazing from all the hard work that the Gilmores did for putting together the silent auctions and making it a success.
To the kids crafts that the Gardners put together under the guidance of Mrs Pat and Robin that volunteered their time for well over 20 years for our kids . We truly appreciate Mrs Pat commitment and love for every child she has given her valuable time to . To end the weekend we had an amazing firework show to end the night . We are so glad everyone enjoyed all the events planned all weekend and it was all put together by volunteers and staff . They give of there time from their families to create memories for yours. For that we are very thankful.
We now need our community’s help in the spirit of the Fourth of July we understand that everyone wants to go and shoot and have their own firework show .  Although that sounds fun And we do understand there is a reason why it is in the rules that you cannot shoot fireworks unless it is a Logan Landing planned event . Anytime that there is an event where fireworks were to be shot we always set up for the local volunteer fire department to be there with either one or two trucks to ensure the safety of our community and families . Because we only have a voluntary fire department we have to be extremely careful to make sure that we have that protection during those shows .  on Saturday night. We had a few families that were shooting fireworks independently from our show and the night before. .
Which is clearly against the rules due to the fact of the lack of fire protection that we do not have inside our community with not having fire hydrants and only being a voluntary fire department . That is the reason why these rules exist for the protection of our residence, homes and our guest . We understand that people want to shoot fireworks independently, but this cannot and will not be allowed inside our community. Please help us help you by not doing or participating in these actions it puts everyone at risk .
It also sets a president that others can do the same thing which is already been said that others are planning on doing their own shows since they saw others shooting fireworks, and this simply will not be allowed.
Thank you for helping us this is our community and we are trying to keep a safe place for all .
