We had a tornado hit my adopted section of trail last night. I went to check out damage this morning and found 20 downed trees, tons of debris and am happy to say the only out and back of the NCT is ready for hikers again

Visited Kate Dernocoeur, (a fellow trail angel ) this morning. Together we cover the southern section of the Western Michigan Chapter of the North Country Trail Association . Most hikers say all they need is a place to set up a tent for a night.
