Wow... absolutely no filter needed for Lowell this morning.
I stepped outside the front doors earlier and just had to stop and look up. The sky right over Main Street was a brilliant mix of fiery pink and purple hues, and everything was so quiet and peaceful.
There is truly nothing like watching our beautiful town wake up under a sunrise like this. If you are staying with us today, grab a hot cup of coffee and enjoy the view!

Hey everyone! Just a quick update on our favorite adventurer, Betty.
She's taking a few days off at her home in Carson City to wait for the weather to break before she continues on her North Country Trail journey. The trail isn't going anywhere, and we know she'll be back out there as soon as conditions improve!
We love hearing about her progress and can't wait to welcome her back to the Main Street Inn when she passes through again. If you're in the area in the meantime, stop by for a peaceful stay and some good company.

Update on our inspiring guest, Betty Kellenberger!
Last Sunday and Monday night, 80-year-old adventurer Betty Kellenberger stayed at our area inn while hiking the North Country Trail!
Betty recently made history as the oldest woman to thru-hike the entire Appalachian Trail. Now she's tackling the epic North Country Trail, and she was last spotted near Bitely, Michigan.
What an amazing example of courage, determination, and staying active at any age! We're so proud to have hosted such a trailblazer and wish her safe and happy miles ahead on the trail.
If you're out hiking in the area, keep an eye out for Betty and send her some good trail vibes!
