It is like the Armadillo World Headquarters was transported out to San Saba!! Just an hour outside of Austin..To say this place is a hidden gem is a vast understatement..Bret - the owner- has created a paradise at Colorado Bend St

ate Park - with the river right there and chickens that hang out on stage rockin with the bands - and with all the recent rains-the waterfalls are gonna be flowing MAXIMO!!

He had me try it.
Freaking amazing.
It's going on the menu, and I told Leland he could name it.

The "Wright Melt" is a half-pound of burger with caramelized onions and jalapenos.

Joel Allan said it was the best thing he has ever had here.

******IMPORTANT*******

Due to the Cyclosporiasis Outbreak taking place in Texas and other states the Bend General Store is going to stop using lettuce and tomatoes and possibly some other veggies on our burgers until this outbreak is over.

We will still have French fries as they are fried.
This seems to be the smartest thing we can do to keep folks safe.
Luckily this does not affect our menu much.
