Mayor Greg and I had a wonderful evening at the observatory tonight!

Thank you to Kathleen and John, Capstone Distillery (www.capstonespirits.com) for the invitation!
They volunteer a LOT of hours to bring to our community an incredible opportunity to see beyond our own world. 🌎

This is their new telescope 🔭 that can find any planet for viewing! The room rotates and the dome opens to the beautiful nights skies.

This is a fantastic gift of time and knowledge with your family, friends, schools, groups, or just to enjoy a night under the stars. They have a few good fundraisers coming up too ... dancing under the stars, meeting an astronomer in person, checking out the magnetic telescope and more!

They do need volunteers!! From high schoolers to retired scientists and anyone with passion, in between ... it is the only observatory of its kind!

Take a visit today. You will be reaching for the stars and anxious to return! 🌟
