Furnishings include antiques from the 1820 - 1840 period, but modern amenities have been added for comfort and convenience. Boasting a large front porch, the home begs for company to share its breathtaking view of the beautiful surrounding countryside. Gobbler's Knob has been featured in regional magazines, local newspapers, and on national television. The two-story home provides delightful accommodations. The first floor includes a separate dining room with an immense wood burning stone fireplace and a living room with a full-sized sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully modern, equipped with a microwave oven and other time-saving amenities. Across the hall from the full bathroom is the R and R (Romance and Relaxation) room, featuring a two-person whirlpool bath. The second floor features a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and a second bedroom with a set of twin beds. There is also a charming sitting room between the bedrooms.
