With increased wildlife activity around Breckenridge, we wanted to remind everyone to be "bear aware" this fall!

When on property:
- Keep patio doors and windows locked at all times
- Do not leave trash or food outside
- Put all trash in bear-proof trash and recycling bins while enjoying the outdoor amenities

If you see a bear:
- NEVER feed or approach them!
- DO NOT RUN - this may cause the bear to chase you
- Stay calm and keep your distance
- If the bear approaches you, make yourself big and loud

Grand Timber Lodge is committed to keeping the property “bear-wise” to prevent unwanted bear encounters, and following these guidelines will help keep you and these wonderful creatures safe.

As summer bids farewell to Breckenridge, the resort team at Grand Timber Lodge has begun preparations for the busy ski season ahead!

Fall maintenance projects are underway, including routine maintenance for the pools and hot tubs. This year, Grand Timber will be completing annual window cleaning in-house to minimize the impact on owner dues.

Fall showed up early this year, and the foliage is already spectacular! If you are planning to come see the leaves, now is the time!

Looking for a trail to enjoy? We recommend the B&B to Reiling Dredge to Mini Mine loop! It is an easy 2.6 mile hike, with some minimal elevation gain about halfway along the route, but the climb is worth it! The trail treats you to amazing views of Breckenridge Mountain, with historical ruins dotting the trail and lots of lovely aspen groves.

Parking is extremely limited at the trailhead, so we recommend catching the Purple A bus to French Gulch, which is only a 12 minute walk from the trailhead.

There are about 5 other trails in the area that interconnect, so we recommend having a trail map handy.
