Labor Day weekend is almost here, and we’re soaking up every last bit of summer on Kentucky Lake. ☀️⚓

The Gas Dock & Lighthouse Store will have extended hours through Labor Day, followed by our September schedule for the rest of the month.

Thursday: 1:00–6:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Monday: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM

🚌 One important date to remember: Cypress Bay will be CLOSED Saturday, September 19 while our crew heads over to Fat Daddy’s for the Stuff the Bus Toy Drive! We hope you’ll join us for a fun afternoon supporting local kids.

We told you Stuff the Bus was going to be a good time… we just hadn’t told you who was bringing the music.

🎸 HIGH NOON MOON is joining us for this year’s Stuff the Bus Toy Drive!

Come spend the afternoon with us Saturday, September 19th from 12–4 PM as we work together to fill that bus with toys for children in Stewart & Henry

Welcome back to the weekend at Fat Daddy’s! It’s going to be a hot one, but after the weather we’ve had lately, we’ll happily take hot and sunny over rainy! 😎

Stuff the Bus: The Questions Everyone Is Asking

Q: How much is a wristband?
A: $25—and it gets you 50% off all food and drinks during the event. Yes, you read that right.

Q: Do I have to bring a toy?
A: It’s not required for the wristband, but bringing a new, unwrapped toy gives you an additional chance to win prizes—and helps children in Stewart and Henry Counties.

Q: What are the prizes?
A: Nice try. You’ll have to show up to find out.

Q: Can local businesses donate a prize?
A: Absolutely! It takes a village—and this village knows how to make things fun. Local businesses are welcome to donate prizes and join us in bringing a little more Christmas joy to children in Stewart and Henry Counties. Send us a message if you’d like to be part of it.

Q: How full are we trying to get Mike’s bus?
A: Full enough that he starts worrying about whether he can still see out the windshield.

Q: Where can I purchase a wristband?
A: Fat Daddy’s or Cypress Bay Marina & Resort during regular business hours.

Join us Saturday, September 19, from noon–4:00 PM for Stuff the Bus. Bring an unwrapped toy and help us fill Mike’s bus for children in Stewart and Henry Counties.

Wristbands are $25 and may be purchased at Fat Daddy’s or Cypress Bay Marina & Resort during regular business hours.

The kids may be heading back to school, but there’s still plenty of summer left to enjoy on Kentucky Lake.

Slow down, soak up the sunshine and make a few more lake-day memories with family and friends. Our tritoon rentals are a fun, relaxing way to enjoy what’s left of summer.
