The ice is almost gone in our bay!! Trevor and the girls took a row boat out in front of the kayaks yesterday trying to see what the ice looked like. We have a breeze blowing into our shore right now breaking it up even more!

Our guessing for the Ice-Out-Competition is officially closed. I thought I would share some fun facts for this year's guesses.

We had a total of 239 guesses all together.

April 15 had the most guesses for the day with 17 in total.

The earliest guess was March 28 and the latest guess was June 3.

Well, we are finally ready to start our annual Ice-Out-Competition ⛄️🛶 Steph and I just drilled a few holes in our bay and it was consistent throughout at 21” of ice. We had about 19-1/2” to the water level.

When do you think the ice will be cleared from our gas pump to the Namakagon Chief Island? Guess Date and Time and only on this post. If multiple guesses for the same date and time, the first guess will be the only one to count. Guessing will close on Wednesday March 25 at noon.

The winner will be announced once the ice is clear to the island and winner will get Mogasheen merch as well as Chamber Dollars.

Update:
We have rented out the Basswood cabin for the weekend

If you are still looking for a place to stay for the We**ie Roast this weekend, we just had a cancellation in our 2 bedroom Basswood cabin. The lake is fantastic with plenty of ice and snow to get back and forth between all of our local establishments! We do have a 3 night minimum, so you get plenty of time for fun 🤩
