Apparently the groundhog saw his shadow yesterday, which means 6 more weeks of winter…

However, we would like to report that today is 71° with blue skies and lots of Camellia and Daphne flowers in bloom. Calistoga is beautiful in February!

🚜 This was our first year participating in Calistoga’s Lighted Tractor Parade, and we feel so lucky!

🎄 2025 was the 30th anniversary of the

🤩 Over 20k people came to watch the parade in our small town of 5,500!

🥇 Overall, the parade won 4th Best Parade in the US!

🥇 Out of 8 winning categories, Cottage Grove Inn took home “Best Pre-1965 Big Rig etc” for our antique sleigh 🛷 over 100 years old!

🚜 I think we have a new tradition. See you at the parade next year! Planning ahead? It’s always the first Saturday in December, rain or shine (or fog).

🚲 Did you know you have complimentary use of our cruiser bikes during your stay with us?

Here is Stanley, one of our VIP’s (very important pups) 🐶 getting a better view from the bike basket.

A lot of our guests love to take the bikes out in the mornings and ride the vine trail, which starts two blocks away. You could also ride over to and fill your basket up with fresh croissants. 🥐 What could be better?

Tucked between between Lincoln Ave and Wappo St, Cottage Grove Inn is in an oasis of its own. Shaded by a grove of Elm trees with manicured grounds, and walking distance to local shops, restaurants and spas. You have your own parking spot as well as free access to cruiser bikes to see the town. What could be better?
