Cedar City’s Main Street is getting a woolly takeover! 🐑

The Sheep Parade returns Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 10 a.m. as part of the Cedar Livestock & Heritage Festival. A flock moving through downtown makes this a very different kind of Utah parade, with the community’s agricultural traditions taking center stage.

For visitors, it’s a chance to see a piece of Southern Utah’s livestock heritage beyond the ranch. For locals, it’s a familiar fall tradition that turns Main Street into a gathering place for families, spectators and plenty of cameras.

If you’re making the trip, arrive before the parade begins so you have time to find a viewing spot. Check the organizer’s latest route and event information before heading out, and give the animals and their handlers room to move.

During the run of the Utah Shakespeare Festival we had over 1,100 people come and enjoy our delicious breakfast!

From homegrown fruit, veggies and jams to homemade yogurt, sweet breads and quiche, it was a delicious way to start each morning!

We congratulate the amazing Utah Shakespeare Festival on their incredible 64th season that just recently concluded. Every show was beautifully done with great acting and singing, fantastic sets, costumes, props, lights and so much more. The seminars, talk backs and bonus events were fantastic too! There is so much to do and enjoy at the Urah Shakespeare Festival.

We hope everyone will plan now to come back next summer to enjoy their 65th season….And stay with us… The Bard’s Inn is only a block away from all the magic.
