I was mesmerized by the fact that the steam above my coffee is always there, but I normally can’t see it. On the random occasion that the sun is shining in, I’m suddenly enlightened to the fact that something exists that is always there that I do not see.
Have a beautiful day noticing the ordinary special things around you!

Thinking about booking a stay? Here are the 3 questions we get asked the most. 👇

1️⃣ Are there stairs? Yes. As a historic home, all of our rooms are on the second and third floors. Bonus tip: third floor rooms are priced lower to reflect the extra flight. 💰

2️⃣ Does every room have a private bathroom? Absolutely. Every room has its own, with your choice of tubs, showers, or whirlpool tubs. 🛁

3️⃣ How far is Gettysburg? Just 30 minutes down Route 30. Many of our guests stay with us for exactly that reason. 🇺🇸

What else would you like to know before your next stay? Drop your question below and we’ll answer it! 💬

It may look like Christmas, but this is how almost every breakfast plate starts here at The Inn. Every meal looks more complete with some green and red on the plate! (a special shout out to my aunt for the tomatoes from her Maryland garden🙌🏽🥰).

*** Bonus points if you’re still reading: since we’re talking about Christmas…..you are hearing it here first! Our Christmas open house will be the afternoon of Sunday, December 13!

People ask me all the time if running a bed and breakfast was always my dream.

Honestly? No. It never crossed my mind. 😅

My husband is a dreamer, and I love going along to see where his ideas lead. This one led us to opening our home in Chambersburg to guests from everywhere.

Now I get to cook breakfast, hear your stories, pick paint colors, and redesign bedrooms. Even the laundry doesn’t feel like a chore when you love what you do.

Turns out I’m living a dream I didn’t know I had. And I can’t wait to share it with you. 🤍
