Miah and Sam chose the solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to get married at their Alma mater’s parish - Corpus Christi University Parish at the University of Toledo. The week leading up to the wedding was nothing but thunderstorms and high temps but the day of? Clear skies, the lightest wind and the perfect June temperature. Following Mass the bridal party jumped aboard the trolley and headed to Nazareth Hall to celebrate! What a beautiful day! ✨

When Natalie’s inquiry hit my inbox I was elated - and immediately felt ancient. Natalie was a teen in a small group I led that met in old Dublin nearly ten years ago. It was a joy to see her with Paul and enter into the sacrament of marriage surrounded by so many loved ones at St Brendan. They have truly embraced a life of mission and answering the call to love the Lord and one another. (And don’t worry, her dad got selfies with everyone at the wedding including me.)

This was truly a day rooted in love of the Lord and gratitude for His faithfulness. Katie said it best at the reception when she and her husband (!!) thanked everyone for traveling from near and far and said that this celebration was like a foretaste of the heavenly banquet that is to come.
