A Piece of CDR History 💕

We recently came across a very special piece of Colonia del Rey history --- a quilt made by our guest around 2002 - 2003.

Over 20 years later we can still see the memories woven into every square. Each one carries the name of a guest and where they called home, along with a few special little memories sewn right into the quilt. Looking at all the names and places, it's amazing to think about how many friendships, stories, and winter seasons are represented in one blanket.

The park is a little quieter this time of year....

And we have to admit, we miss seeing everyone around! ❤️

Take a trip to the iconic USS Lexington right here in Corpus Christi. Known as "The Blue Ghost," the Lexington offers visitors an opportunity to explore a piece of American military history and learn about those who served.
