Escape to the serenity of the peaceful waters of the Chippewa Flowage at Indian Trail Resort. You don't have to break the bank to get away from it all as we have very reasonable prices. We have availability the week of July 18th to July 25th due to a cancelation and couple more scattered throughout the season.

This was our last day on the water on the Chippewa Flowage, 11/24/25 & not only was it John's birthday but Brenda finished her season off with another BIG MUSKY in the boat. Can't wait to wet a line with my own personal guide and make more special memories together in 2026!!!

We have plenty of fishing exploits to share so come in for a cold one in our "
Little Red Bar"...May 9th & 10th, Saturday & Sunday, we'll be open from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm & then from 9:00 pm to close. We'll be open 9:00 pm to close during the week except for Wednesday closed all day.

John & I (Brenda) are working hard to get our historic resort ready for ALL of our guests...regulars and newbies. We provide some of the cleanest cottages that our regulars rely on and the newbies will enjoy. Aren't these the luckiest curtains on planet earth...look at their view!

We provide a very special atmosphere for our guests to come to escape and find peace and solace in nature. Staying at a resort provides the perfect place to develop new friendships and share real community not a cyber space isolating yourself away from human contact.

We still have some cabin availability in 2026 and also for shorter stays our Lakeside Motel. Our Little Red Bar is the oldest bar on the Chippewa Flowage and is the gathering place to share your fish stories after your day in paradise on the water.

If you missed the bog move on the history channel you can access it by searching for "The Unbelievable" with Dan Aykroyd, season 3 episode 6, at approximately 29 minutes 45 seconds into the program. Also, John Dettloff and his book "Whispers of the Past A History of the Chippewa Flowage" credits are located on the lower right hand side at approximately 59 minutes.

This was great to see our lake and my favorite guy getting credit on national television!!!
