These Castle guests' friendship story is so cool!

Last February, they were all part of a 10-day Castle Marne takeover hosted by a tech company as part of the Ethereum Conference here in Denver, where they met from different corners of the world. These 4 developed a friendship during that time, which has remained strong.

In fact, they called the Castle while having lunch together in Brasil (BRASIL y'all) yesterday to lock in their next Castle takeover! They said their experience at the castle was so impactful and memorable they cant wait to come back for their 2026 Game of Thrones themed Takeover!

More memories and friendships to come!

We're at Castle Marne, at Race and 16th. Built in 1889, it was one of 36 homes designed by architect William Lang in the Wyman District. It was built for Wilbur Raymond, but sold in 1894 to James Platt, whose wife, Sarah Platt Decker was a key activist in Colorado women winning the right to vote in 1893. Adele Van Cise converted the castle to apartments in 1918, and since 1989 it has served as a bed and breakfast.

Our beloved resident historian, Phil Goodstein, with a Halloween Feature on Channel 9, talking about Fairmount Cemetery. Equally exciting... the Castle's second owner and nationally renowned suffragist Sarah Platt Decker also mentioned as she is eternally at rest in Fairmount.

Come join us at the Castle Marne on November 30th as Phil Goodstein launches his latest book in his Denver Cemetery Series: Denver Jewish Cemeteries.

Names on the monuments at the cemetery include William Buyers, William Fisher and Sarah Platte Decker.
