Wisconsin Freemasonry was honored to be invited to attend the Installation of Officers at the Eastern Star Grand Chapter meeting in Stevens Point. GM Jeff was asked to say some words about the special occasion and the significant contributions our Eastern Star Brothers and Sisters make to our Masonic Family!

“Most Worthy Grand Matron Linda, Worthy Grand Patron Moses, Distinguished East, and Sisters and Brothers of our Masonic Family all: GOOD AFTERNOON!

It is a genuine pleasure and a high honor to stand before you as Grand Master of Masons in Wisconsin, bringing the warmest fraternal greetings from the entire Wisconsin Freemasonry Leadership Team and every Lodge in our jurisdiction on this joyful occasion—the installation of the new officers of the Grand Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star of Wisconsin.

To our outgoing officers: thank you for a productive and successful year! You provided a guiding light that shone brightly throughout the state.

To the newly installed Worthy Grand Matron, Worthy Grand Patron, and all the officers of the Grand Chapter: heartfelt congratulations! You have been chosen by your Sisters and Brothers to lead this Grand Chapter for the coming year under the beautiful theme “Faith Harmony Service.”

What a fitting and inspiring charge. In a world that too often feels adrift, you now carry the responsibility—and the privilege—of continuing to guide this organization by the radiant light of the Eastern Star. May your upcoming year also shine brightly through your leadership, your decisions, and your example.

The bond between Freemasonry and the Order of the Eastern Star is both ancient and precious. Founded upon the same moral and spiritual foundation, our two organizations have walked side by side for many generations —Master Masons and their wives, mothers, sisters, daughters, and widows —laboring together in the cause of charity, education, and the improvement of humanity.

In Wisconsin, that partnership has been especially warm and productive. Whether supporting our Masonic children’s programs, disaster relief, local community projects, or the quiet work of making good men and women even better, the Masons and Eastern Star of our state have consistently shown what can be accomplished when we stand together under the watchful eye of the Great Architect of the Universe.

As Grand Master, I want you to know that the Craft stands ready to support you. Your success is our success. Your light brightens our own. We are not two separate bodies—we are family, bound by obligation, affection, and a shared desire to leave the world better than we found it.

To every Sister and Brother present: thank you for your continued dedication. Thank you for keeping the doors of our Chapters open, for welcoming new members, and for living the principles of the Order with such grace and sincerity. The future of the Eastern Star in Wisconsin is bright because of leaders and members like you.

May the Great Architect of the Universe bless each of you, bless these newly installed officers with wisdom, strength, and harmony, and bless the Grand Chapter of Wisconsin as you travel and labor together throughout the coming year.

Thank you, and may peace, love, and light abide with you always.

Keep being the good in the world!”

🇺🇸 Wisconsin Freemasonry wishes all a solemn and meaningful Memorial Day.

Today we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our freedoms. As America prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary, we remember that our liberty was purchased with their courage, bravery and lives. May their memories inspire us always.

We hope you spend this day safely with family and friends, reflecting on the blessings of liberty.

Wisconsin Freemasonry was honored to be invited to speak at the Opening Session of Job’s Daughters! Great attendance and lots of excitement about the recent JD growth within Wisconsin. Eagle River just opened a new Bethel - and another Bethel brought in 5 new Daughters and 2 “To Be’s” in a single day! We are seeing growth across our Masonic Family!

GM Jeff offered the following remarks:

“Worthy Grand Guardian, Worthy Grand Officers, Honored Queens past and present, Bethel Guardians, dedicated Masonic family members, and especially the incredible Daughters of Job gathered here today: GOOD EVENING!

I’m Jeff Schoenfeldt from Peshtigo, Wisconsin - and I have the privilege of serving as the Grand Master of Masons in Wisconsin.

It is a profound honor and a genuine pleasure to stand before you on this milestone occasion—the 98th Annual Session of the Grand Guardian Council of Wisconsin Job’s Daughters.

For nearly a century, this Grand Council has carried forward a light of faith, virtue, and sisterhood that shines brightly across our state. On behalf of the Grand Lodge of Wisconsin, our Wisconsin Freemasonry Leadership Team, and all the brethren whom I have the privilege to represent, I bring you warmest fraternal greetings and congratulations.

Job’s Daughters holds a very special place in our Masonic family. Founded upon the timeless lessons of the Book of Job—lessons of patience, integrity, faith in adversity, and ultimate restoration—this Order prepares young women not only for leadership, but for lives of purpose. Lives of service. Lives of good.

Your motto, “Virtue is a quality which highly adorns woman,” echoes the very principles we cherish in Freemasonry: moral uprightness, reverence for the Supreme Architect of the Universe, love of country, and respect for family and community.

To each Wisconsin Daughter here: You are the fairest in all the land—not merely in appearance, but in the beauty of your character, the strength of your convictions, and the kindness of your hearts. Through your rituals, your charitable projects, your exemplifications, and your daily example, you remind us all what it means to inherit a legacy and to pass it forward stronger than you found it. You are the future of our Masonic family, and we are deeply proud of you.

I also want to thank the adult leaders—the Grand Guardian Council, the Bethel Guardians, and all the dedicated Masons and Eastern Star members who volunteer their time and talents. Your quiet, steadfast support is the foundation upon which these young women build their confidence and their futures. You are making a difference in their lives - thank you for all that you do!

Masonry teaches us that we build not only for today but for generations yet unborn. In Job’s Daughters, that teaching comes vividly to life.

As we mark 98 years in Wisconsin, let us look ahead with optimism to the centennial and beyond. May this Session be filled with joyful reunions, thoughtful deliberation, inspiring programs, and renewed commitment. May every Daughter leave here strengthened in faith, richer in friendships, and more determined than ever to live the lessons of Job’s three daughters—Jemimah, Keziah, and Keren-happuch—who received inheritance among their brethren.

In the spirit of Freemasonry and Job’s Daughters alike, let us continue to walk uprightly before God and our fellow man, supporting one another with charity, fostering leadership with humility, and spreading light wherever we go.

Thank you for allowing me to share this special day with you. Congratulations to Grand Guardian Valerie and Associate Grand Guardian (and my Masonic Brother) Craig for a successful and productive term. And congratulations to the incoming leadership team - may you enjoy many successes throughout the coming year!

May the Supreme Architect continue to bless each of you, this Grand Council, and all the Bethels across Wisconsin.

God bless you, and God bless the Order of Job’s Daughters. Thank you for being such an important part of our Masonic Family - and thank you for being the good in the world!”

Congratulations to our Brothers and neighbors to the West - Wisconsin Freemasonry wishes you many successes in the year ahead!

GM Jeff was asked to speak at the Minnesota Annual Communication and gave the following remarks:

“Most Worshipful Grand Master, Right Worshipful Deputy Grand Master, Distinguished Grand Lodge Officers, Past Grand Masters, Worshipful Masters, Brethren all, Good morning!

How good and how pleasant it is for Brothers to dwell together in unity!

My name is Jeff Schoenfeldt, I’m from Peshtigo, Wisconsin, and it is a profound honor and a sincere pleasure to stand before you today as the Grand Master of Masons in Wisconsin, bringing the warmest fraternal greetings from the Badger State to this distinguished 173rd Annual Communication of the Grand Lodge of Minnesota.

On behalf of the visiting delegations gathered here—I extend heartfelt congratulations to you, Most Worshipful Grand Master, and to all the officers and brethren of Minnesota for the dedicated leadership and brotherly labor that have brought you to this annual assembly.

We are grateful for your hospitality and for the opportunity to share in this time of reflection, decision, and celebration of our Craft.

Wisconsin and Minnesota have long stood shoulder to shoulder as neighboring jurisdictions.

Our shared border is more than a line on a map; it is a bond of common heritage, common values, and common purpose. Just as the mighty Mississippi and the waters of the Great Lakes connect our lands, so too does the timeless light of Freemasonry unite our hearts and our very souls.

Whether we hail from the dairy farms and forests of Wisconsin or the lakes and prairies of Minnesota, we meet upon the level, act upon the plumb, and part upon the square—ever guided by the same ancient landmarks and the same commitment to brotherly love, relief, and truth.

To all the visiting Grand Masters, Grand Officers, Blue Lodge Officers and delegations present: you represent the strength and vitality of our worldwide fraternity. Your presence here today reminds us that, though we labor in separate jurisdictions, we are one in spirit.

We come not as strangers, but as Brothers—eager to learn from one another, to strengthen the ties that bind us, and to carry back to our own Grand Lodges and Blue Lodges the inspiration we receive in this hall.

May the Supreme Architect of the Universe continue to bless the Grand Lodge of Minnesota with wisdom, harmony, and prosperity in the year ahead. May the work of this Annual Communication be marked by thoughtful deliberation, charitable vision, and unwavering fidelity to our Masonic principles.

And may the Great Lights of Freemasonry ever illuminate our path, so that when we return to our respective Lodges, we do so renewed in our resolve to build better men, better communities, and a better world.

Again, thank you for this warm welcome to the North Star State. I deeply appreciate, respect, and value everyone in this room and all that you do for Freemasonry – everything you do matters.

You are all my brothers and you are always welcome in Wisconsin!

Until we meet again, keep being the good in the world, my Brothers! Thank you!”

Congratulations, Grand Master Shawn Carrick, and the entire 2026-2027 officer line!
