On this Flag Day, June 14, we pause to honor the Stars and Stripes — the enduring symbol of liberty, unity, and the sacred freedoms we hold dear. As Freemasons, our connection to Old Glory runs deep: it is woven into our ritual, our heritage, our tradition, and our unwavering devotion to country. Many of our Brothers have defended it on the battlefield - and all of us stand committed to the principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth that it represents.

Today, let us display the flag proudly, reflect on the blessings of our Republic, and renew our pledge to be good men and good citizens — ever striving to better ourselves, our communities, and our great country.

May the Grand Architect of the Universe continue to bless these United States, the State of Wisconsin, and all who cherish freedom under this banner! 🇺🇸

Freemasons strengthen and support their communities - and through a generous, private donation, our Wisconsin Masonic Foundation was recently able to donate SEVENTEEN (17!!) AED defibrillators to be installed at facilities throughout the Kettle Moraine School District! That’s incredible! 

AED DONATIONS!!! The Wisconsin Masonic Foundation is honored to support the Kettle Moraine School District through the donation of 17 Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to help strengthen student, staff, and community safety. The Foundation remains committed to charitable efforts that support health, safety, education, and community service across Wisconsin, and they expressed appreciation for the collaboration with district leadership and staff throughout the process. “We deeply value the work being done by the Kettle Moraine School District and appreciate the dedication of everyone involved in creating a safe and supportive environment for students to learn and thrive. At the Wisconsin Masonic Foundation, we believe strongly in supporting initiatives that protect and enhance the well-being of our communities,” said Peter Tourville, President of the Wisconsin Masonic Foundation. “We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Kettle Moraine School District in providing these AEDs, which can make a critical difference in emergency situations. The safety of students, educators, families, and visitors is something we all share responsibility for, and we are proud to contribute to that mission.” The Foundation also recognized the important role of ZOLL as the AED supplier partner in helping make the initiative possible. “We are pleased to work alongside ZOLL, whose commitment to innovation and lifesaving technology aligns closely with our mission of community care and public safety. Strong partnerships like this help expand access to critical emergency response resources throughout Wisconsin.”

Our 101st Annual Communication provided an opportunity to celebrate a renewed spirit of fraternal respect and cooperation between the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Grand Lodge.

While honoring the sovereignty and traditions of our respective jurisdictions, we recognize one another as brothers in service, leadership, and brotherhood.

Together, we continue building bridges of understanding and mutual respect for generations to come.

As the great philosopher (and Wisconsin native) Steve Miller said, “Time keeps on slippin’, slippin’, slippin’… into the future.” Just as quickly as we began, here we are already – nearly 12 months in to our incredible journey together.

Wisconsin Freemasonry was honored to be invited to attend the Installation of Officers at the Eastern Star Grand Chapter meeting in Stevens Point. GM Jeff was asked to say some words about the special occasion and the significant contributions our Eastern Star Brothers and Sisters make to our Masonic Family!

“Most Worthy Grand Matron Linda, Worthy Grand Patron Moses, Distinguished East, and Sisters and Brothers of our Masonic Family all: GOOD AFTERNOON!

It is a genuine pleasure and a high honor to stand before you as Grand Master of Masons in Wisconsin, bringing the warmest fraternal greetings from the entire Wisconsin Freemasonry Leadership Team and every Lodge in our jurisdiction on this joyful occasion—the installation of the new officers of the Grand Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star of Wisconsin.

To our outgoing officers: thank you for a productive and successful year! You provided a guiding light that shone brightly throughout the state.

To the newly installed Worthy Grand Matron, Worthy Grand Patron, and all the officers of the Grand Chapter: heartfelt congratulations! You have been chosen by your Sisters and Brothers to lead this Grand Chapter for the coming year under the beautiful theme “Faith Harmony Service.”

What a fitting and inspiring charge. In a world that too often feels adrift, you now carry the responsibility—and the privilege—of continuing to guide this organization by the radiant light of the Eastern Star. May your upcoming year also shine brightly through your leadership, your decisions, and your example.

The bond between Freemasonry and the Order of the Eastern Star is both ancient and precious. Founded upon the same moral and spiritual foundation, our two organizations have walked side by side for many generations —Master Masons and their wives, mothers, sisters, daughters, and widows —laboring together in the cause of charity, education, and the improvement of humanity.

In Wisconsin, that partnership has been especially warm and productive. Whether supporting our Masonic children’s programs, disaster relief, local community projects, or the quiet work of making good men and women even better, the Masons and Eastern Star of our state have consistently shown what can be accomplished when we stand together under the watchful eye of the Great Architect of the Universe.

As Grand Master, I want you to know that the Craft stands ready to support you. Your success is our success. Your light brightens our own. We are not two separate bodies—we are family, bound by obligation, affection, and a shared desire to leave the world better than we found it.

To every Sister and Brother present: thank you for your continued dedication. Thank you for keeping the doors of our Chapters open, for welcoming new members, and for living the principles of the Order with such grace and sincerity. The future of the Eastern Star in Wisconsin is bright because of leaders and members like you.

May the Great Architect of the Universe bless each of you, bless these newly installed officers with wisdom, strength, and harmony, and bless the Grand Chapter of Wisconsin as you travel and labor together throughout the coming year.
