Forest Ridge Campground Located in Ellsworth, Maine, your gateway to Down East Maine and Acadia National Park. Forest Ridge is a 60 site campground located in Ellsworth, Maine.

We are located about 19 miles East of Bucksport and about 15 miles North of Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, Maine. The majority of our sites are drive-through sites with 50 amp electric, water and sewer. We have restrooms and free showers. We have an on-sight laundry room with three washers and four dryers. We also have a public dump station, telephone and free Wireless Internet. Our store ca

rries some RV Supplies and Maine novelties. We also offer firewood for those nightly campfires, Ice, Cold Drinks and snacks

Whatever your destination, you're certrain to find your stay at Forest Ridge relaxing and enjoyable. We welcome travelers, vacationers, tenters, bikers, seasonal campers, large groups, caravans and rallies, or those just passing through to Acadia National Park. We offer LARGE Sites and QUIET Night

ANYONE MISSING A DOG!!

I was driving toward bass harbor when a saw a dog in the middle of the road clearly panicked. The dog from what I could tell is a German Shepherd mix has a collar on too. I pulled over but sadly the dog ran from me into the woods (expected) I just didn’t want him/her in the road with the heavy traffic coming from both directions. I was less then a minute drive from the CITGO gas station I’ll provide a photo below. I truly hope this can help and the pup can return back home safely to the owners
