Madison Double R Fishing Manager Will Griffiths and Krista Sampson recently had the pleasure of spending a day on the Madison River with Jessica Biel. Jessica reached out to sharpen her casting and rowing skills in preparation for an upcoming film in which she’ll play a Montana fishing guide.

Krista and Will had such a wonderful time with her and couldn’t stop talking about what a genuinely gracious, and down-to-earth person she is.

Jessica, thank you for being so kind to our team. We loved having you on the river and look forward to seeing you again soon. We can’t wait to watch the film!

We got the chance to take a midseason break and do some personal fishing outside of our regular neighborhood.
First we headed east to the Boulder River Valley and then we continued on to the Northwest where we found ourselves at Brooks Creek Ranch in British Columbia. We also had a chance to fish the east side of the divide in Alberta. We caught cutthroats, browns, rainbows, and even a few big Bull Trout.
We lucked out with perfect weather and ideal river conditions.
We feel fortunate for the opportunity and now we’re back to work!
