May the Fourth be with you! Did you know that parts of Star Wars were filmed in Redwood National and State Parks? Here on the Mendocino Coast, we have our own fair share of redwood groves reminiscent of the forest moon of Endor, with towering trees, lush ferns, and the splash of nearby waterfalls. For an out-of-this-world vacation, we recommend a hike at Russian Gulch State Park or Van Damme State Park. We don’t have any Ewoks here, but keep an eye out, and you might spot other adorable local fauna!
