Multiple commercial outfitters are available to lead you on a fun filled and exciting rafting trip on the Upper Yough or on other less extreme runs within 30 minutes of Stillwater Haven. Come enjoy the luxury of our 300 feet of private river front, giving you immediate access to the river. You will eliminate a half mile of flat water paddling via our private and easy take-out area right on the banks of Stillwater Haven. The chalet sits just 50 yards from the riverbank providing you quick and easy access to a hot shower and a change of dry clothes. Celebrate your river trip with a campfire nestled right on the banks of the Yough or in our native wood burning fireplace with an open air pavilion facing the river. Our private river access is also the perfect spot for fisherman, giving access to Class 3 Trout stocked waters. Kids or grown-ups alike, can also enjoy a fun, yet relaxing tubing trip of a mile stretch down the Yough to the take-out area in our beautiful Friendsville Town Park. Our local park allows more great amenities with free access to a paved walking area along the banks of Bear Creek and the Yough River, volleyball, basketball, and tennis. If the weather keeps you from playing outside, Stillwater Haven has numerous on-site activities to keep you entertained. Lots of laughter will be had while enjoying one of our many board games, a game of Ping-Pong, throwing darts, shooting Pool or playing Corn Hole in our lower level pavilion area. If relaxing is the name of the game, then snuggle up by one of the indoor fireplaces and watch your favorite movie or sporting event on our Smart HDTV flat screens. With DirectTV's NFL Sunday Ticket, you'll never miss a play by your favorite team. Bring along your favorite Xbox 360 and Wii games for fun times in the game room.
