Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, Lakeside Inn is a National and State of Michigan registered historical site and a nationally recognized rustic inn located in the heart of Harbor Country. We offer our guests the sandy beaches for which Michigan's west coast is famous. Enjoy lake breezes on our front porch which runs along the entire front of the inn overlooking Lake Michigan; featured in USA Today as one of its "Ten great places to sit on the porch."

Are you a non-studio artist looking for a more flexible residency than our traditional Lakeside Inn Residency? Gordon Beach Inn is excited to announce its non-studio artist residency program. In consideration of the number of writers, illustrators, and digital artists applying to the Lakeside Inn Artist Residency, in combination with feedback from past artists in residence, we are launching a residency program that supports our community of poets, writers, digital artists, academics, and students.

📖Residencies are available for custom durations at a discounted rate of $250 for seven nights ($495-$650 value) from November 1-April 30. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
