The Machias River Inn team is excited to welcome everyone to town for the Machias ATV Jamboree this weekend! We know Machias will be buzzing with ATVs, trucks, trailers, and riders ready to hit the trails.

As you arrive for check-in, we ask that guests please use the motel parking areas, which include:
• The parking rows directly behind our sign
• The spaces between our two buildings near the staircases
• The lower-unit parking area extending back toward the river

Please do not park on or drive across the grass lot.

Once these designated parking areas are full, our staff will help direct you to additional parking locations for trucks and trailers. Guests will be able to unload their luggage and ride their machines back to the Inn.

This is a great problem to have, and we’re thrilled to see so many visitors choosing Machias for the weekend. Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to welcoming each and every one of you!

Busy season is officially in full swing at Machias River Inn!

There’s nothing quite like looking out at a full parking lot packed with trucks and trailers, knowing riders are here to explore the incredible trail system that makes Downeast Maine so special.

June is shaping up to be an exciting month for Machias and the surrounding communities. This weekend brings the annual Margaretta Days Festival of Machias, Maine, followed by the Machias ATV Jamboree next weekend. Events like these bring visitors from all over New England and create a tremendous boost for our local businesses, restaurants, shops, and attractions.

Machias River Inn is looking for a reliable and friendly individual to join our Front Desk team!

This is a part-time position with approximately 2-3 shifts per week. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable solving problems as they arise.

Responsibilities include:
• Checking guests in and out
• Taking reservations over the phone and from walk-in guests
• Processing payments
• Answering guest questions and assisting with their needs
• Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming experience for every guest

The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, customer-focused, and works well both independently and as part of a team.
